POINT OF ATTENTION

In accordance with decree n ° 2021-699 of 1 June 2021 amended, prescribing the general measures necessary for the management of the health crisis exit and decree 7309 CAB of 20 August 2021 amended prescribing the general measures necessary to deal with the covid-19 epidemic as part of the health crisis exit and to the amended order 525 CM of 13 May 2020 on entry and health surveillance measures for arrivals in French Polynesia as part of the fight against covid- 19.

COMPULSORY COMPELLING REASONS DECLARATION FOR:

NON VACCINATED travelers aged from 12 or over coming from the rest of the national territory, a country classified as a green zone * or the United Kingdom.
ALL travelers aged from 12 or over coming from a country classified as an orange zone * (excluding the United Kingdom) or a red zone *.

NO COMPELLING REASONS DECLARATION FOR:

Vaccinated travelers from the rest of the national territory, the United Kingdom and a country classified in the green zone provided they have stayed in the country of origin 15 days prior departure to French Polynesia.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS TO ENTER FRENCH POLYNESIA (for travelers aged from 12 or over): :

Document attesting to a negative result for an RT-PCR test carried out less than 72 hours before the trip or an antigen test allowing the N protein of SARS-CoV-2 detection carried out less than 48 hours before the trip; for travelers coming from a country classified in the red zone: document attesting to a negative result in a RT-PCR test or antigen test allowing the detection of the N protein of SARS-CoV-2 carried out less than 48 hours before the flight;
Approved ETIS receipt;
Proof of vaccination status and / or receipt of compelling reason.

TIME LIMITS TO BE RESPECTED BETWEEN COMPLETE VACCINATION AND DEPARTURE TO FRENCH POLYNESIA:

For two-dose vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna, Astrazeneca: 7 days after the 2nd injection or 7 days after a single injection if the traveler's vaccination schema provides for it (previous covid).
For single-dose vaccines, Janssen: 4 weeks after injection

We remind you that the ETIS formality engages the registrant’s responsibility. We ask that you please pay the greatest attention to your application and remind you that criminal penalties may be incurred in the event of forgery. Travelers are strongly recommended to limit social interactions as much as possible after the RT-PCR test done 3 days before departure and pending the results of the self-test carried out 4 days after entering the territory. Article 441-1 of the penal code: Forgery is defined as any fraudulent alteration of the truth, likely to cause damage and accomplished by any means whatsoever, in writing or any other means of expression of thought whose purpose or potential effect is to establish proof of a right or fact with legal consequences. Forgery and the use of forged documents are punishable by three years' imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros. Article 441-9 of the penal code: Regardless of the cases provided for in this chapter, the following is punishable by one year of imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros for: 1 ° Issuing an attestation or certificate stating materially inaccurate facts; 2 ° Falsifying an attestation or certificate which was originally accurate; 3 ° Making use of an inaccurate or falsified attestation or certificate. The penalties are increased to three years' imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros when the offense is committed either with the intent to jeopardize the Public Treasury or the patrimony of others, or with the intent to obtain a residence permit or the benefit of protection against removal.

Information note :

Since July 20, 2021, all travelers of at least 6 years old traveling to French Polynesia by air, are required to participate in the cost of health surveillance ; in accordance with the modified Art. 4-2 of decree n ° 525 CM of May 13, 2020, about entry and health surveillance measures for arrivals in French Polynesia as part of the fight against covid-19.
All travelers are affected : Travelers residing in French Polynesia and travelers residing outside of French Polynesia.

The rate contribution to health surveillance costs is :

5,000 XPF per vaccinated traveler
12,000 XPF per unvaccinated traveler

The children between 6 and 18 years old, registered in the same file as a parent, benefit from the parent's vaccination status. People residing in French Polynesia and proving student status or the status of person traveling as part of a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) are exempt from this payment. Note that people in medical evacuation are entitled to an attendant, this attendant is also exempt from this payment.

Compliance to sanitary rules

The government of French Polynesia requires compliance with barrier gestures.
Tests to be performed at:
- D -3 of your flight to French Polynesia
- your arrival at Tahiti- Faa'a airport
- D+4
- D+4 and D+8 at the Louis Malardé Institute TAHITI (from 11 years old)
- D+4 and D+8 in the form of a self-test to be submitted to your accommodation or a dedicated center (for children from 6 years old)

It is strongly recommended that travelers limit social interactions as much as possible after the RT-PCR test performed 3 days prior to departure.
